North America accounts for 15% of the worldwide Christian population. We think we’re the leaders of the revolution, when in truth we’ve been passed over while we try to get our act together.

So how is our 15% doing? Not too well, when you consider 85% of the churches in America are somewhere between flat-lined and free-falling in attendance. Our society is in a post-Christian era where most people are cynical about religion as an institution; even those raised in church.

Only a return to the Jesus-led, renegade revolution where people take priority over programs will allow us to turn the tide. So, welcome to the revolution, my renegade friend, where we will go beyond just going to church and start being the church everywhere we go.
