We all love winning. We live for it. We think about it. We obsess over it. Thus the popularity of ESPN and all things sport.
But the truth is, we don’t all win. That is, we don’t all come in in first place. We don’t all win the championship. And as a matter of fact, most of us don’t remember those who do.
So here is a bit of insight: stop worrying about win or don’t play, or success or don’t try. How about starting something? How about taking an issue? How about getting in the game? How about suiting up and getting on the playing field? You never know what might happen.
What’s the worst that could happen if you went ahead and got married, started a business, moved, did something really radical, or raised a ruckus? You just might have a whole new life. You just might get a whole new gig.
